Refund policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026.
Here is the plain-language version of when you can get a refund. The full detail is in the ticket purchase terms, and that is the version that binds. The short story: the venue is the seller and sets the refund policy for its event, and findout processes any refund on the venue's behalf.
The event is cancelled
You get everything back, including the booking fee: the full amount you paid returns to the card you paid with. findout processes the refund once the venue provides the funds. Refunding the fee on cancellation is not the industry norm; on findout it is the rule.
The event is postponed or rescheduled
Your ticket stays valid for the new date, so you do not need to do anything. If you cannot make the new date, you can ask for a refund of the face value within 14 days of the new date being announced. After that the ticket is still valid but non-refundable.
The event is materially changed
If something central changes, like the headline act, the date, or the venue, you can ask for a refund of the face value. Smaller changes do not count, like support acts, set times, the running order, or the weather at an outdoor event.
You change your mind
Tickets are for a specific date, so a change of mind is not refundable, and the 14-day online cooling-off period does not apply to dated leisure events. This does not affect your refund if the event is cancelled or materially changed.
About the booking fee
The booking fee pays for the booking service, which is delivered as soon as your ticket is issued, so it is non-refundable when the ticket price is refunded for any other reason. The one exception is a cancelled event: cancellation refunds everything, booking fee included. See our fees for what the fee is and what it covers.
