Terms of use

Last updated: 12 July 2026.

These terms govern how you use the findout.ie website. Buying a ticket is a separate contract with the venue, covered by the ticket purchase terms. If the two ever seem to conflict about a ticket you bought, the ticket purchase terms apply to that purchase.

1. About findout

findout.ie is a website that lists events in Ireland and lets you buy tickets to them. For each event the venue or organiser is the seller and findout acts as its booking agent. Using the site means you accept these terms.

2. Your account

You can browse and buy without an account. If you create one, give accurate details and keep your login secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at hello@findout.ie if you think someone else has accessed it.

3. Acceptable use

Please do not:

  • use bots, scripts, scrapers, or any automated means to access the site or buy tickets;
  • buy tickets other than for your own genuine use, or in bulk for unauthorised resale;
  • interfere with, overload, or try to break the security of the site;
  • copy, republish, or reuse the site's content or data without our permission;
  • use the site to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.

4. Our content

The findout name, the site's design, text, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property rights. Event information is provided by venues and organisers; we present it but do not guarantee it is complete or error-free.

5. Availability

We work to keep the site running but provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or withdraw parts of the site, and we do not promise it will always be available or uninterrupted.

6. Our responsibility to you

This section is about your use of the website. It is separate from responsibility for a ticket you buy, which is dealt with in the ticket purchase terms. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, or from reliance on content on it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your access if you breach these terms, misuse the site, or where we reasonably suspect fraud. You can stop using the site at any time.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will post any change here with a revised last-updated date. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
