When you get paid
Updated 13 July 2026
The schedule
Your payout releases the morning after your event date: the face value of every valid or used ticket on paid orders, in full. Once released, the money typically reaches your bank within 1 to 2 business days. Refunded tickets are excluded; the buyer got that money back.
Why after the event, not before
Holding funds until the event has actually happened is what lets findout refund buyers in full, automatically, if an event is cancelled. It protects buyers from no-show events and protects you from chargeback churn; it is the same reason buyers can trust a first-time organiser on findout at all.
Your first event: the reserve
On your first event only, 25% of the payout is held back and released 7 days after the event date; the other 75% releases on the normal morning-after schedule. The reserve exists to cover refunds that surface in the days right after a first event, which is when they happen. It applies once: every event after your first pays out in full on the normal schedule.
Watching it happen
Your organiser payouts page shows what has been released, what is pending, and any reserve. If a payout is late or looks wrong, work through Troubleshoot a delayed or missing payout before anything else.
