Create your first event

Anyone running events in Dublin can sell tickets on findout. Listing is free; buyers pay the booking fee and you receive the full ticket price you set.

The steps

1. Create an organiser account; it is separate from a buyer account and takes a minute.
2. Create the event: title, venue, date and start time, description, artwork, and your ticket types with a price and quantity for each. Free tiers are allowed.
3. Connect payouts with Stripe. You can build the listing first, but ticket sales switch on only after Stripe verifies you; that verification is what lets buyers pay you.
4. Publish. Your event gets a public page and joins the findout feed.

Worth knowing before you publish

• Once the first ticket sells, the date, venue, and start time lock (contact us for genuine changes); get those right first. Description, lineup, and artwork stay editable. Details in Edit a live event.
• Buyers see one all-in price everywhere, so the price you set is what you receive and the fee added on top is always visible to them; nothing is hidden inside your price.
• Your event page shows a contact link so attendees can reach you directly with questions.
